Guitar, Plate, Fruit Dish, Pitcher and Music Score by Georges Braque, 1925. Georges Braque is the lesser known co-founder of Cubism (the other, of course, being Mr Picasso!). I love the separate elements of the piece, but also how Braque creates a complex and layered composition. The business and warm autumnal colours really reminds me of my late Italian grandfather’s living room.
