janus films has a new 35mm print of my favorite godard film, week end (1967). they also have a poster for its release. likely, this will be showing up as a criterion release sometime next year (thus becoming the only proper release as the new yorker video dvd has long been oop). also, the best news of all, the print is coming to chicago in novemeber. it will be showing at the gene siskel, opening on the 18th.
［アンカレッジ（米アラスカ州） １９日 ロイター］ 米アラスカ州南東部ケチカン市で１３日、民家で火事が発生したが、ペットのウサギが飼い主を起こして家族は一命をとりとめた。同市の消防署が１６日、明らかにした。
消防署によると、ウサギは１３日早朝、飼い主の胸をひっかいて目を覚まさせ、飼い主は自分の娘を起こして逃げることができた。２人にけがはなかったという。
現場にははしご車や消防士３３人が駆けつけ、火はまもなく消し止められたが、ウサギは煙を大量に吸い込んだことが原因で死んでしまったという。
